Jr. Jazz

Brooklyn and Madi decided to give Basketball a try this year. Brooklyn has gotten player of the game several times and is great at assists and steals. Madi is our little John Stockton and scored several baskets in her last game. Her coach always had her bring the ball down the court. It was a lot of fun to watch them play. Kelsie would even jump in now and again to shoot hoops with the girls during the timeouts. I can't wait to see what they try next.

Tis the Season..... There's nothing that says Christmas like a family gingerbread building contest. We had a blast. I'm not sure a winner was declared, but they were all fantastic. Thanks to Mom and Dad for providing all the goods. Happy Holidays everyone.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

What a fun Thanksgiving we had this year. It was so nice to be with family. In the past we were not able to travel to far away from home because of Bryan's job, so this year was great to be able to enjoy the day with the ones we love. My mother out did herself with the meal, and clean-up was great with Anna and Summer. The kids loved playing Cootie with Grandma, and I loved being able to visit with my grandmother as well. I am truly "Thankful" for Bryan and the girls. What would life be without FAMILY.

Montana Nov 2008

Last weekend we went to Montana with my sister Maria and her family. Our mission: (1) So Bryan could hunt to his little hearts desire! (2) So Maria and I could sell Scentsy and Kendee Watches (check out our blog they are the cutest things ever). (3) To winterize our home. (Boo Hoo it still hasn't sold). I don't miss the cold winters, but it was so nice to hang out with friends, have beautiful lakes just a hop skip and a jump from our house and spend time with my sister and her family.

"The Bat Cave"

Every year Bryan's mom goes all out and creates a "Bat Cave" for the grandchildren to explore during the Halloween Party. There always happens to be someone super creepy hiding out to scare you, and she makes the kids stick their hands in all sorts of concoctions. They absolutely love it!!! Not to mention the Halloween Bingo. ( I loved it too! I won the $5.00 prize ) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa we love you!!

5K

Last Saturday I ran in a 5K with my sister Maria. We had a good time, but I think we are in need of a little more training for next year :) Before the race all ready to go...
After the race, yes we were as tired as we look.

Our last summer swim!!

My cute sister-in-law has a pool and is really great to let us come over and swim. This is a picture of the girls with their cousins.

The girls first day of school!!

Here we go again.....I think the first day of school every year brings me to tears. It's always hard for me to let the girls go, especially since they are all in a full day of school. They were super excited to start at their new school "Roosevelt Elementary". This is actually the elementary school that Bryan went to. I think part of him was happy that they were following in his footsteps...GO ROOSEVELT RAPTORS. When we picked them up afterwards Madi told us that she only made 10 friends and then gave us a huge grin. Brooklyn was passing out my cell phone number to everyone in sight (she claimed they were all her new friends). Kelsie loves 6th grade and gets to go across the street to the Jr. High for first period for band and then has to hurry across the street to the elementary school before the first bell rings. She's made friends with two girls named Taylor and calls them the Taylor twins. Over all I can't believe how well the girls always adjust to something new, they inspire me.

Memorial Day at the cabin

Here I am..... I've wanted to create a blog so that we could keep all of our friends and family up to date on our fun life. WOW, I love summer and thank goodness it's here! I think this has been the longest winter that I have ever experienced (in all 32 years). Anyway, now that it's consistantly 90 degrees it's time to play, and play we have.
